Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Baggs! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, David Schapiro and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed right hand from Baggs misses the target. Lanjaron attempts a counter takedown but Baggs avoids it well and moves away. Baggs throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lanjaron drops down looking for a counter takedown but Baggs sprawls and moves away. Baggs is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Baggs misses with a wild body shot. Baggs connects with a right hand. Lanjaron shakes it off. Baggs misses with the combination.
Baggs is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lanjaron. Baggs throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lanjaron sees it coming and avoids it easily. Lanjaron defending well as Baggs loads up on a big left hand. Brian Baggs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Baggs throws a hook to the side of Lanjaron's head but Lanjaron sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lanjaron shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Baggs as he avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baggs stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Baggs wants it to stay on the feet. Baggs does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Baggs will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Baggs looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lanjaron is one step ahead there. Lanjaron sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Baggs's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lanjaron wants to lay and pray for a moment but Baggs keeps working. Baggs tries to roll over but Lanjaron keeps him under control. Lanjaron is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
