Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Tae Shik Cha (ranked 4167 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kid Mantuano (ranked 16948 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cha might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Emancipator - When I Go. Tae Shik Cha has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 0 losses; Kid Mantuano! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Mantuano tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cha swats him away and circles back towards the center. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mantuano. Cha seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Cha has managed to clinch.
Cha drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mantuano gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Cha wants the takedown. Mantuano is fighting it off but Cha persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Mantuano's guard against the cage. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Cha (2) vs (0) Mantuano Cha has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cha looking to pass the guard. Cha trying to control but Mantuano is working from the bottom. Cha is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Mantuano is controlling Cha's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cha wants to pass the guard but Mantuano is keeping the position. Cha knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mantuano on the ground. Cha is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mantuano has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Cha is looking to defend but Mantuano has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Cha! Mantuano pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Cha taps out and this one is all over!
