Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ray Hullman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Tybert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ray Hullman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jason Tybert!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tybert lands a right hook to the body.
Tybert throws a sloppy head kick and Hullman moves out of range easily.
Tybert throws a head kick that half lands.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hullman.
Hullman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tybert pinned against the cage. Tybert gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hullman shoots in and drives through. Tybert sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ray Hullman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tybert thumps Hullman with a low kick.

and Hullman counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hullman.
Tybert is looking to break free of the clinch but Hullman has double underhooks.
Hullman struggles to land a body shot inside as Tybert controls his hands.
Hullman keeps control of Tybert as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Hullman has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Tybert is trying to keep an underhook but Hullman manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Hullman stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Tybert scores with a nice head shot.
Good standup being displayed there by Tybert as he connects with a hook.

The fight stays on the outside here - Hullman looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hullman shoots in looking for a takedown. Tybert tries to sprawl out of it but Hullman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tybert manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hullman tries to clinch up.
Tybert feints and then cracks Hullman's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hullman down.
Tybert scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Tybert lands a nice looking body kick.
Jason Tybert seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hullman swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tybert counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tybert looks to clinch

and Hullman counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Tybert has had enough of the clinch but Hullman keeps him there for the moment.
Hullman swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Tybert tries to stall but Hullman uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Tybert is looking to break free of the clinch but Hullman has double underhooks.
Tybert wants to get back to striking at distance but Hullman won't allow it.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Hullman.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Tybert can't break the clinch.

Hullman gets control of Tybert's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hullman will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Tybert stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Tybert lands a nice looking body shot.
Hullman clinches but Tybert breaks the clinch

and Tybert decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hullman's guard.
Tybert trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Tybert looks gassed!
Hullman is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Tybert trying to get back to full guard but Hullman takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hullman breaks from Tybert's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Tybert can't escape the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hullman cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Tybert is working to get back to half guard.
Hullman postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tybert looks a forlorn figure.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Hullman working for a guillotine from mount but Tybert is in no mood to give up.
Tybert is trying desperately to improve position.

Hullman jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Tybert is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Tybert and Hullman has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jason Tybert will probably get the nod.
That's time! Hullman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Tybert lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Tybert tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tybert misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hullman takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hullman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Tybert as he avoids it easily.

and Hullman counters with a shoot takedown. Tybert fights it but they end up in guard.
Hullman postures up in Tybert's guard and throws a big left but Tybert blocks it.
Tybert looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Tybert doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Tybert is striking from the bottom but Hullman uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hullman is working for a submission of some sort.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tybert trying to control from the bottom.
Hullman lands strikes from half guard.
Tybert makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tybert.
Tybert throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Tybert keeping moving, preventing Hullman from controlling successfully.

Tybert looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tybert looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hullman is one step ahead there.
Tybert bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hullman's guard.

Hullman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hullman is trying to keep Tybert in close.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hullman is really struggling to control Tybert but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Tybert is stalling in the full guard.
Ray Hullman overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Tybert wants to control from the top but Hullman keeps moving.

Tybert postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hullman is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tybert, into his guard.
Hullman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Tybert throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hullman stands up over Tybert, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Tybert is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ray Hullman dominated that second round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Hullman tries to clinch up but Tybert circles away and keeps his distance.
Tybert fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hullman on the side of the head.
Hullman takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Tybert throws out a loose jab but Hullman uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hullman lands a slapping body shot.
Tybert throws a head kick that misses.
Hullman slips a jab and a cross from Tybert.

Hullman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Tybert keeping moving, preventing Hullman from controlling successfully.

Tybert has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hullman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hullman drops back looking for a leg! Tybert is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tybert manages to kick Hullman off! Hullman jumps back into Tybert's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tybert has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Hullman has passed into side control.
Tybert is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Hullman is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Hullman landing strikes from the mount and Tybert is in trouble!
Hullman postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tybert looks a forlorn figure.
Tybert tries to hold on but Hullman postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tybert tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Hullman with the ground and pound from mount.
Tybert is squirming around, avoiding Hullman's attempts to control the action.
Tybert regains half guard.
Tybert is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hullman is looking to take a break and control but Tybert is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tybert manages to get to full guard.
Tybert manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Hullman slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Tybert sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hullman defending well though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hullman is trying to stand up here but Tybert is controlling him well.
Tybert wants to stand up but Hullman has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Hullman is trying to control but can't.
Well, if Tybert is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Hullman is looking to improve his position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Tybert seems to be working for a kimura but Hullman defends the submission attempt.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ray Hullman showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Hullman has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
