Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baltasar Halko (ranked 2114 p4p, 95 weight class) and Jan Snow (ranked 1918 p4p, 87 weight class). Halko kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Lumberjack by Jackyl. Jan Snow has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Baltasar Halko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jan Snow! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Reed Andrews and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snow cracks Halko with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Snow thuds his right hand into Halko's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Halko shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Snow manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Snow trying to control the position here. Halko is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Halko trying to control the position from guard on top but Snow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Halko thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Halko wants to control from the top but Snow keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Snow trying to keep a closed guard but Halko is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Halko trying to control the position from guard on top but Snow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Snow trying to control the position here.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Halko throws a head kick but Snow moves out of range.
Jan Snow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Halko swings widly with a right hand
and Snow connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Halko fails to land with a series of punches.
Halko takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Snow is looking to slow Halko down with leg kicks. Snow lands an overhand right. Snow pivots, looking for a leg kick but Halko is out of range and Snow settles back down. Snow throws a jab but it's blocked by Halko. Snow cracks Halko with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Snow has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snow avoids the head kick by Halko.
Nice straight punches there by Snow. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Snow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Snow tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Halko shoots in and gets a takedown into Snow's guard. Snow preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Snow pulls Halko in close to his closed guard and prevents Halko from doing any damage or advancing position. Halko forces his way into half guard. Halko is trying to control. Snow wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Snow works his way to full guard. Good work. Snow has Halko pulled in close to control his posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Snow looking to control.
Snow is pulling down on Halko's head to control his posture. Halko trying to control the position from guard on top but Snow is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Snow is trying to control the position but Halko postures up. Snow keeping moving, preventing Halko from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Snow checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Snow lands a nice looking body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Halko misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Snow lands with a hook. Halko tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Snow throws a hook but Halko avoids it easily. Snow scores with a jab to the head.
Halko tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Snow was well out of range. Poor timing from Halko. Halko lands a head kick. Snow smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Halko misses with a low kick. Halko throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Snow connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Snow displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Halko misses with a lunging right hand
and Snow counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Halko takes one to the chin there. Snow lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Halko falls backwards - clearly groggy! Snow dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jan Snow! A relieved looking Jan Snow thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
