The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grundmann shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mcgraugh sprawls well. Mcgraugh wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Grundmann gets slowly back to his feet.
Grundmann dives in for a single leg takedown but Mcgraugh sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes.
Grundmann is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Mcgraugh.
Grundmann takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A nice inside leg kick there by Mcgraugh. That's going to slow Grundmann down.
Grundmann tries to clinch but Mcgraugh is having none of it.

Mcgraugh has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Grundmann tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mcgraugh swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Mcgraugh leaves Grundmann with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
