Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Milo Coffey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Milo Coffey could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ivan Drago's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coffey shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Coffey wants to pass the guard but Drago is keeping the position. Drago being controlled here, momentarily. Coffey trying to control the position from guard on top but Drago is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Drago looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Coffey postures up in Drago's guard and throws a big left but Drago blocks it. Coffey thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Drago looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coffey is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Drago working for submissions but it's allowed Coffey to get to half guard.
Coffey missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Drago tries to get to full guard but Coffey has control of the leg. Coffey stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Drago throws a right and a left that Coffey avoids nicely. Coffey shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Drago is looking for a sweep. Coffey is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coffey tries to pass the half guard into mount. Drago knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Drago is trying to get back to full guard. Coffey lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Coffey prevents Drago from improving his position. Coffey is nestled in close to Drago, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Drago is looking to control Coffey's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Drago avoid being mounted?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drago missing with punches from the bottom.
Coffey thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Drago's head. Coffey drops an elbow to the side of Drago's head. Drago regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Coffey. Drago is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Drago being controlled here, momentarily. Coffey postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drago throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Drago looks gassed! Coffey avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Coffey darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Coffey looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Drago tries to roll over but Coffey keeps him under control. Coffey trying to control the action but Drago is working from the bottom. Coffey is working for a kimura but Drago is defending it quite comfortably.

That's one minute gone in the round. Coffey is pressing down on Drago's thigh, looking to free his foot. Drago is holding on for now. Drago gets full guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Coffey loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Drago lands a jab to Coffey's midsection. A punch combination from Drago misses. Drago fails to land with a series of punches.

Coffey looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Drago!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drago tries to lock up and control but Coffey gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Coffey fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Coffey breaks from Drago's wrist control and lands an elbow. Drago is bucking up trying to escape but Coffey cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Drago is desperately trying to improve his position but Coffey has a good base and remains in mount. A nice elbow there by Coffey. Drago is wriggling around trying to escape.
Drago tries to lock up and control but Coffey gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Coffey scoring with strikes but Drago is staying in there. Coffey moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Drago has worked his arm free - good work by Drago!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coffey wants to control for a moment but Drago uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Coffey is looking to escape. Coffey blocking the ground and pound attempt from Drago. Drago is thwarting Coffey's attempts to control the position. Milo Coffey overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Drago throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Drago works his way into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Drago wants to control but Coffey is keeping him busy. Coffey is trying to get back to half guard. Drago misses with the ground and pound.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Coffey has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
It looks like Milo Coffey has been cut. Drago dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nice sprawl there from Coffey as Drago shoots in. Coffey on the wrong end of a nice jab. Drago misses with a takedown attempt - Coffey sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Coffey fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Drago sprawls well initially but Coffey persists and gets the takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Milo Coffey will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Milo Coffey's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Drago shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Drago showed some decent athleticism there. Coffey is pressing down on Drago's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Drago working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Drago trying to control but Coffey is working from the bottom. Coffey is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Drago stands up and waves to Coffey to follow him. A head kick misses from Drago.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coffey has managed to clinch.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Coffey jumps into guard, dragging Drago to the mat.
Drago is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Coffey is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Coffey has escaped and now he's on top! Drago trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Coffey advances position into side control! Coffey tries for a kimura but Drago is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drago prevents Coffey from improving position. Coffey tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Coffey has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Drago struggling a bit here. Coffey is looking to take a break and control but Drago is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Drago is looking for a sweep. Coffey remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Coffey trying to control the action but Drago is working from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Coffey closes the distance and lands a one-two. Drago fails to land with a series of punches.
Coffey blocks a jab. Drago thows a body shot but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Coffey gets in close and instigates a clinch. Coffey drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Milo Coffey is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Drago can't break the clinch.
Coffey just leaning against Drago, taking a breather. Ivan Drago has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Coffey breaks the clinch.
Milo Coffey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Drago tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Coffey was well out of range. Poor timing from Drago. Drago throws the left hand but Coffey avoids the punch easily.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Milo Coffey. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Coffey, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
