Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Felix Legions (ranked 128 p4p, 17 weight class) and Sambulo Yeboah (ranked 237 p4p, 32 weight class). Legions's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, For Heavy Metal we will die!. Yeboah has chosen Lionel Richie - All Night Long as his entrance music. Felix Legions has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Felix Legions!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sambulo Yeboah!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yeboah rushes Legions and presses him up against the cage.
Yeboah lands a body punch.
Yeboah tries a body shot but Legions blocks it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Yeboah has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Yeboah jumps guard but Legions turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
We've been hearing reports that Legions has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Legions lands a body shot.
Legions tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Yeboah misses with a short punch on the inside.

Legions breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Legions gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Yeboah throws a sloppy head kick and Legions moves out of range easily.

A looping hook to the body misses from Yeboah. Legions does a little dance to reset his feet.

Legions shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Yeboah takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Yeboah let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Legions throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Yeboah tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Legions is in Yeboah's guard.
Legions stands up over Yeboah, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Yeboah takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Yeboah swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Legions is now in Yeboah's guard. A big mistake from Yeboah there, giving up the dominant position!

Yeboah is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Legions has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
I really don't envy Legions right now.

Well, with Yeboah on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Legions is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

That was a close second round but I would say that Felix Legions will probably get the nod.
That's time! Legions's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Yeboah is stalling here. Legions is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Yeboah seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Legions has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

In his post fight interview, Felix Legions started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
