Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Giorgio Carsara !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hederson Bautista Da Silva !
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carsara connects with a body shot.
Da Silva throws a right hand that Carsara ducks under and follows up with a left that Carsara also avoids with ease.
Carsara is looking for a counter combo.

Da Silva closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Carsara wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Da Silva wants to control but Carsara is keeping him busy.
Carsara knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Da Silva on the ground.
Carsara is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Da Silva is controlling him well.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Da Silva is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Carsara is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carsara wants to get back to his feet but Da Silva drags him back down.
Da Silva wants to control but Carsara is keeping him busy.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Carsara on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Carsara tries to get out of the position.
Carsara is pushing Da Silva 's head away, looking to escape. Da Silva manages to hold on to the position though.
Da Silva working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Da Silva working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Da Silva throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
Carsara is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Carsara parries the strikes from Da Silva easily there. Da Silva is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Carsara to escape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Carsara wants to get back to his feet but Da Silva drags him back down.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Da Silva looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Carsara is avoiding damage well.
Carsara is trying to buck Da Silva off.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Da Silva lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Carsara at a distance.
Da Silva walks into a stiff left hand from Carsara .
Carsara lands the left hand.
Carsara lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Da Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.
Carsara throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Carsara really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Da Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Carsara , looking for a takedown. Da Silva pushes Carsara against the ropes but Carsara circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Carsara throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Da Silva looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Carsara scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Carsara lands a nice hook to Da Silva 's body. Da Silva takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Da Silva gets cracked there but stands up to it.


Da Silva is rocked!

Da Silva gets a takedown into half guard.

Da Silva looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Carsara is looking to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Da Silva working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Carsara pushes Da Silva off looking to stand but Da Silva dives back in and keeps control.
Carsara avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Da Silva .
Carsara keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Da Silva has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Da Silva maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Carsara could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Da Silva has cracked it and Carsara is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Da Silva !
