Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rei Bourke (ranked 463 p4p, 56 weight class) and Bruce Schlimen (ranked 4461 p4p, 441 weight class). Bourke comes to the cage accompanied by Champion. Schlimen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Breaking Wave. On his way into the cage it seems that Rei Bourke has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rei Bourke seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

A big left from Bourke misses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Schlimen has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Schlimen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bourke counters with a nice uppercut.
