Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Angelo (ranked 5628 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Sajack (ranked 7301 p4p, 0 weight class). Angelo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jack Parow - Cooler as Ekke. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Angelo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, John Sajack! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sajack misses with a looping right. The fight moves into the clinch position. Sajack prevents a body shot from Angelo. Angelo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sajack pulls him back up using the underhooks. Sajack breaks the clinch.
Angelo misses with an attempted mid kick.
Sajack pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Sajack fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Angelo on the side of the head. Sajack slaps away a takedown attempt from Angelo, before circling back to the center of the mat. Angelo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomas Angelo. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Angelo throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Sajack counters with a right hand to the body. Sajack scores with a jab to the jaw. Angelo is breathing heavily. Angelo takes one to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sajack misses with a straight right. Angelo throws a front kick aimed at Sajack's knee but Sajack avoids it well. A jab from Sajack does it's job there. Angelo could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Sajack throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Angelo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sajack is in Angelo's guard. Angelo is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sajack is aware though and is defending well. Sajack trying to stand up but can't free himself from Angelo's guard. Angelo lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Sajack not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Angelo passes Sajack's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Angelo looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Angelo stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Sajack scores with a nice strike. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Angelo throws a sloppy head kick and Sajack moves out of range easily. Sajack throws a sloppy head kick and Angelo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Angelo. Sajack gets a trip takedown into half guard. Angelo has one foot on Sajack's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Angelo ducks right into an uppercut from Sajack. Angelo shoots in for a double leg but Sajack sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Angelo defending well as Sajack loads up on a big left hand. Sajack moves out of range of the body kick. Angelo fails with a takedown attempt. Sajack throws a jab when Angelo was well out of range. Angelo throws a body punch but Sajack moves out of range. Sajack swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. A left lands for Sajack. Sajack changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Angelo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sajack wants to stand but Angelo is controlling his arm. Angelo gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Angelo keeping control of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Angelo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sajack's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sajack's back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but John Sajack will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Sajack pushing out the jab but it's not landing. The fighters circling - Sajack throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Thomas Angelo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sajack moves out of range of the body kick. A lazy left from Angelo finds it's target.
It looks like John Sajack has been cut. Angelo throws a body shot but no joy. Sajack was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Sajack scores with a nice strike. Nice jab there from Sajack. Sajack lets loose with a powerful body kick. Angelo will feel that in the morning. Angelo is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sajack's half guard. Angelo sitting and controlling from the half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Angelo stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Sajack to get to his feet. John Sajack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sajack is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sajack throws an overhand right that lands on Angelo's shoulder, as Angelo tries to avoid the shot. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Sajack. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Angelo slips a jab and a cross from Sajack.
Angelo seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Angelo keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sajack. Angelo tries to bum rush Sajack with a series of wild strikes but Sajack uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Angelo drives through and clinches with Sajack against the cage.
Sajack has had enough of the clinch but Angelo keeps him there for the moment. Angelo tries to pull guard but Sajack forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Angelo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Angelo goes for a takedown attempt but Sajack pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Angelo blocks a jab. Sajack will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sajack keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomas Angelo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Angelo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sajack pinned against the cage. Sajack gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Angelo looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Sajack might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Sajack scores with a sloppy right hand. Angelo should have avoided that one. Sajack cracks Angelo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Angelo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A countering left hand to the body from Sajack misses. Sajack moves into the clinch successfully.
Sajack has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sajack wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sajack misses the shot to the body. Sajack moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Angelo slips under a jab. Angelo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Angelo staying out of range there. Angelo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sajack sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Angelo somewhat. Sajack throws a hook to the side of Angelo's head but Angelo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sajack is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Angelo has taken the fight to the clinch.

Angelo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Angelo fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Angelo tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Angelo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sajack circles away. A little jabbing left from Sajack on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Angelo rushes Sajack and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Sajack tries to circle away but Angelo has him pinned against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Sajack's face as he tries to break the clinch. Sajack wants to break the clinch but can't.

Sajack misses with a hook. Angelo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Angelo ducks under a wild hook from Sajack. Sajack throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Angelo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Angelo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sajack circles away. A shot to the liver by Sajack. Beautiful body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Sajack showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on John Sajack's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Sajack scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Angelo fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Sajack looks like he wants to counter punch here. Sajack throws a right and a left that Angelo avoids nicely. Angelo ducks under a wild hook from Sajack. Sajack throws a jab when Angelo was well out of range. Sajack attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Angelo slips a jab from Sajack. A quick step to the side and Angelo tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Angelo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Sajack checks a leg kick. John Sajack seems to be getting the better of the standup. Angelo gets a double leg takedown into Sajack's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Angelo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Angelo sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sajack's guard. Angelo looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Angelo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Sajack's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Angelo is taking a breather. Sajack says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Angelo seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sajack for as long as he can get away with.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Angelo shoots in for a takedown but Sajack shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sajack falls off balance throwing a combination
and Angelo counters by moving into the clinch. Angelo drags the fight down to the ground.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Angelo looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Sajack is defending well. Angelo quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Sajack has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Angelo celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Thomas Angelo! A relieved looking Thomas Angelo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
