The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Young looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Vega lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Young at a distance.
Vega misses with a wild body shot.
Young misses with a takedown attempt - Vega sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Young shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Vega lands a nice hook to Young's body. Young takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Young doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Young closes the distance and clinches up with Vega, looking for a takedown. Young pushes Vega against the cage but Vega circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Young tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vega paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A little feinted left hand from Vega on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Young jumps guard but Vega turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Young is working for takedown but Vega is calmly controlling the position for now.

Vega is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Young is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Young is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Vega to keep the fight standing.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Vega throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Young takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

and Young counters with a good low kick that Vega was not able to check.
Young throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Vega's waist but Vega gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Young off to one side.

Young is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Vega is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Young can do to turn this around?
Vega throws a hook but Young blocks it.

Young needs to keep his hands up - Vega had a free shot at his head there.

Vega scores with the left hand. Young knows he should have avoided that one.

Young looks up at the clock. Bad move! Vega lands a right hand from hell, dropping Young. Vega pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
