Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Geanluca Lorenzon (ranked 1168 p4p, 133 weight class) and Jorginho Marcelo (ranked 771 p4p, 89 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jorginho Marcelo!
The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lorenzon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Marcelo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lorenzon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Lorenzon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Marcelo shoots in for a takedown but Lorenzon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Geanluca Lorenzon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jorginho Marcelo.
Marcelo shoots in but no luck this time.
Marcelo shoots for a double leg takedown but Lorenzon sprawls well. He's pushed Marcelo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Marcelo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lorenzon tries to avoid it but Marcelo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lorenzon to the ground. Lorenzon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lorenzon sizes up Marcelo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Lorenzon moves into the clinch.
Marcelo drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lorenzon gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Lorenzon throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Marcelo is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lorenzon gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Lorenzon is pushing Marcelo up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Marcelo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lorenzon pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Jorginho Marcelo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Marcelo takes one to the side of the head.
Marcelo misses with a takedown attempt - Lorenzon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Marcelo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Geanluca Lorenzon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Marcelo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lorenzon as he avoids it easily.
Oooooh!!! Lorenzon has knocked Marcelo down with a huge combo! Lorenzon steps away and waves a wobbly Marcelo back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Marcelo is rocked!
It looks like Jorginho Marcelo has been cut.
Lorenzon cracks Marcelo on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Marcelo falls backwards against the cage. Lorenzon follows up with more strikes that drop Marcelo to his knees. Lorenzon keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Marcelo! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Geanluca Lorenzon!
