The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Curwell shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Boortz wants to control but Curwell is keeping busy.
Curwell controlling the action here.

Curwell tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Boortz.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Curwell is looking to take a break and control but Boortz is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Boortz tries to get to full guard but Curwell has control of the leg.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Boortz unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Curwell! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Boortz is unloading with more strikes now! Curwell drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
