It seemed like Gun was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Goodwin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gun manages to avoid it.

Goodwin leaves his chin hanging out and Gun seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Goodwin crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

After the fight, Machine Gun was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
