Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Altair Brain (ranked 6006 p4p, 521 weight class) and Great Tiger (ranked 4008 p4p, 0 weight class). Brain comes into the arena with 300 Violin blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Altair Brain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Great Tiger!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brain jabs Tiger to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Brain throws a hook to the side of Tiger's head but Tiger sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tiger uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brain.
Brain's corner calls for a 1-2. Brain obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Brain wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Tiger takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Brain throws a leg kick
and Tiger counters with an inside leg kick.
Brain ducks under a wild hook from Tiger.
Brain fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Brain looks to score with a jab to the body but Tiger is just out of range.

Tiger throws a fast counter high kick but Brain manages to duck under it in time.

It seemed like Tiger was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Brain is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Tiger with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Brain to score with a decent uppercut.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Tiger might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Brain has got the better of the exchanges.
