Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Padrone (ranked 6881 p4p, 535 weight class) and Casper Alvbris (ranked 5936 p4p, 501 weight class). Alvbris has chosen Slayer - Bloodline as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Casper Alvbris enters the cage!

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michael Padrone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Casper Alvbris! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alvbris shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Alvbris was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Alvbris is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Padrone has escaped the position, nice work there. Alvbris tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Padrone tries to bench press Alvbris off him but Alvbris keeps the position. Alvbris has control of an arm but Padrone manages to advance to Alvbris's back! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alvbris wants to get back to his feet. Alvbris trying to control but not successfully. Padrone doesn't have the hooks in and Alvbris manages to turn into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Padrone seems keen to control Alvbris's posture. Alvbris is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Padrone looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Alvbris got a little sloppy there for a moment and Padrone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Alvbris has managed to get both his arms back between Padrone's legs - danger averted. Alvbris missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Casper Alvbris will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Alvbris shoots in and bounces Padrone off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Alvbris trying to control but Padrone is working from the bottom. Padrone trying to control the position here. Casper Alvbris showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Alvbris's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Alvbris wants the takedown. Padrone is fighting it off but Alvbris persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Padrone's guard against the cage. Alvbris postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Padrone pulls Alvbris in to control the position. Alvbris sitting in guard, not really doing much. Padrone is trying to control the position but Alvbris postures up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Alvbris tries a head kick but it misses.
A quick step to the side and Padrone tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. The fight stays on the outside here - Alvbris looks like he's thinking about clinching though. As Alvbris tries to get set, Padrone tries to push him back and clinch up but Alvbris manages to avoid the attempt. Alvbris changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Padrone looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Alvbris wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Padrone, who protects the arm well.
