Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Limp Wrist! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Darius Henderson and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wrist lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Gregory decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Gregory lands with a punch from half guard. Gregory is looking to take a break and control but Wrist is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wrist wants to control but Gregory is keeping busy.
Gregory tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Wrist is trying to maintain the position but Gregory is very close to passing his half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wrist on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Gregory trying to control the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gregory is looking for a kimura but Wrist is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gregory to get the leverage. Wrist looks winded! Gregory is thwarting Wrist's attempts to control the position. Wrist might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gregory haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wrist tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Gregory manages to move to mount!

Gregory is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Wrist to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Wrist shrugs it off. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wrist is squirming around, avoiding Gregory's attempts to control the action. Wrist tries to hold on but Gregory postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gregory pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. The referee warns Wrist that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wrist can do anything to dispel that myth. Gregory won't let Wrist get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Gregory moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Wrist has worked his arm free - good work by Wrist!

Wrist tries to get back to half guard but can't. Gregory scores with a couple of short elbows. Wrist misses with an elbow from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gregory throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Wrist works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Gregory trying to control the action but Wrist is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wrist with a lazy takedown attempt and Gregory counters with a lovely shot to the body. Gregory slaps away a takedown attempt from Wrist, before circling back to the center of the mat. Wrist sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Wrist gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Gregory scoring with some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gregory wants to stand but Wrist has a closed guard, so he can't escape. We've been informed that Wrist has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gregory trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Wrist keeping moving, preventing Gregory from controlling successfully. Gregory is looking to work some ground and pound but Wrist has wrist control. Gregory is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Gregory gets to his feet - Wrist follows without any prompting.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Gregory fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wrist can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gregory controls the pace. Gregory might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gregory keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Wrist's head. Gregory would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Wrist looking for a sweep. Not yet Wrist, not yet. Gregory wants to stand but Wrist is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Gregory bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gregory slows the pace down. Gregory stands up and we're back to a striking position. Gregory closes the distance and clinches up with Wrist, looking for a takedown. Gregory pushes Wrist against the cage but Wrist circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Wrist tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gregory sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wrist somewhat. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gregory forces Wrist back against the cage and clinches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Wrist is staying active underneath Gregory, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Wrist takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Gregory is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Gregory is trying to control the action in half guard but Wrist is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Gregory decides to return to a standing position. Gregory wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Gregory closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Wrist has one foot on Gregory's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Gregory fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Gregory distracts Wrist with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Wrist keeping moving, preventing Gregory from controlling successfully. Gregory trying to stand up but can't free himself from Wrist's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wilford Gregory. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gregory, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
