The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aurocko shoots in and bounces Roman off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Roman pushes Aurocko off and scrambles back to his feet.

Aurocko gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Aurocko tries to break the clinch but Roman is controlling the position.
Aurocko wants to get back to striking at distance but Roman won't allow it.

Aurocko gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Roman manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Aurocko tries to break free but Roman pushes him back against the cage.

Roman jumps guard and drags Aurocko to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Aurocko slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Aurocko decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Roman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Roman swats away the attempt to clinch by Aurocko.

and Aurocko counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Aurocko throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Roman was covering up waiting for the punch and Aurocko finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Aurocko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Aurocko wants to pass the guard but Roman is keeping the position.

Roman moves in looking to clinch but Aurocko pushes him off.

Oooooh!!! Aurocko has knocked Roman down with a huge combo! Aurocko steps away and waves a wobbly Roman back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Merle Roman has been cut.

Aurocko closes the distance looking for a takedown. Aurocko picks Roman up and slams him brutally to the floor. Roman is out! He's out cold! Wow, you don't see a finish like that every day!
