Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Rielly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cade Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Patrick Rielly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cade Brown! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rielly misses with a few strikes there.
A combination from Rielly does no damage. Rielly scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Brown slips a jab from Rielly. Both fighters circling a little - Brown finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Brown uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rielly. Rielly looks to land a combination but Brown avoids it well. Brown misses with a straight left. Brown tries to bum rush Rielly with a series of wild strikes but Rielly uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Brown uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rielly. and Rielly counters with a nice uppercut. Rielly lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Rielly looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Brown on the wrong end of a nice jab. Brown bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Rielly misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brown doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Patrick Rielly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown throws out a leg kick but Rielly moves out of range and Brown only half commits. Rielly misses with the combination.
Brown moves out of range of the strikes. Rielly throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Rielly misses with a two punch combination.
Rielly throws a hook but Brown avoids it easily. Brown tries to close the distance and clinch but Rielly swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Brown shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rielly as he avoids it easily. Brown takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Rielly ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brown moves away. Rielly throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Brown misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Brown takes one on the chin but seems OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rielly scores with the left hand. Brown knows he should have avoided that one. Rielly connects with a body shot. Rielly lands a glancing blow to the side of Brown's head. Rielly lands a nice shot that snaps Brown's head back.

Brown throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Rielly throws a combination that misses and Brown makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Rielly really felt that one! Brown slips a straight right by Rielly. Brown takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Brown defending well as Rielly loads up on a big left hand. Brown shoots in but Rielly avoids the takedown attempt easily. Patrick Rielly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cade Brown. Brown looks gassed! Rielly stuffs the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rielly connects with a body shot. Patrick Rielly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rielly connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Rielly lands a nice hook to Brown's body. Brown takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Rielly throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Rielly stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Rielly lands with an overhand left. Rielly lands with a nice combination. Brown backs away looking to recover. Rielly ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Brown takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. This has been an exciting period of action! Brown walks into a jab. Rielly misses with a combination
and Brown counters with a flying knee. Nice. Brown is trying desperately to land a takedown but Rielly is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Brown. Rielly scores with the left hand. Brown knows he should have avoided that one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Rielly throws a shot to the body.
Rielly scores with a sloppy right hand. Brown should have avoided that one. Rielly lands a nice shot to the body.
Brown takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Rielly connects with a crisp jab. Brown takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Brown has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Brown takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Brown is rocked! BOOM! Rielly lands a beautiful left hook that drops Brown. Brown tries to recover but Rielly is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Brown lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Patrick Rielly!
