Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bea Mason (ranked 2961 p4p, 401 weight class) and Crusadius Infidellus (ranked 3439 p4p, 440 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Crusadius Infidellus! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Infidellus throws a hook to the side of Mason's head but Mason sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Mason takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Mason throws a solid leg kick but Infidellus takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Mason. Mason gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Infidellus lands a body punch in the clinch. Mason missing with knees to the body.
Infidellus works on Mason's body with a couple of short punches. Infidellus working some nice short punches in the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Infidellus. Mason stalling against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Infidellus. Infidellus lands with a light punch inside. Mason misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Mason drops down looking for an ankle pick but Infidellus pulls his leg out and moves away.

It looks like Crusadius Infidellus has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Mason takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Infidellus gets in close and instigates a clinch. Mason tries to score a body lock takedown but Infidellus shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Mason prevents a body shot from Infidellus. Infidellus is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bea Mason. That's going to take a lot out of him. Infidellus fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Infidellus misses with a hook from the clinch. Mason is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Infidellus to keep the fight standing. Infidellus softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Infidellus can't find room to land a body shot as Mason controls the action.

Mason closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Infidellus is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Infidellus is trying to buck Mason off. Infidellus is trying to improve his position.

Infidellus tries to bench press Mason off him but Mason keeps the position. Mason has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Infidellus keeps trying to improve his position. Mason trying to control the position but Infidellus is working away. Mason controls the position from side control. Infidellus tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mason wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The ground and pound from Mason seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Infidellus is trying to improve his position. Mason throws an elbow but Infidellus slips to the side and avoids it well. Infidellus sneaks back into half guard. Infidellus is defending against the submission attempts here by Mason.
Infidellus is not content to let Mason control the position. Mason wants to pass the guard but Infidellus is defending well. Infidellus slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Infidellus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mason. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Infidellus tries to land a sweep but no joy. Mason gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mason shoots for a takedown but Infidellus saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Infidellus misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mason shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Infidellus pinned against the cage. Infidellus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Infidellus throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Infidellus lands with an overhand left. Mason throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mason keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Infidellus. Mason tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Infidellus swivels and escapes. Mason drops his hands momentarily and Infidellus takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Infidellus scores with a hook. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A lazy left from Infidellus finds it's target. Mason closes this distance looking for a takedown but Infidellus circles away. Infidellus now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Infidellus throws a big shot that misses. Mason shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Infidellus as he avoids it easily. Infidellus steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Mason. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Crusadius Infidellus dominated that round. The cut man is working on Crusadius Infidellus's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Infidellus got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mason has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Infidellus has managed to get both his arms back between Mason's legs - danger averted. Infidellus looking to pass the guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Infidellus tries to stand but Mason is controlling from the bottom. Mason is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Infidellus working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Infidellus drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Mason dives on top into guard. Infidellus tries to land a sweep but no joy. Mason advances to half guard. Mason works his foot free and advances to mount. Mason misses with a head shot. Mason with good strikes from the mount here! Mason misses with a head shot. Infidellus sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Mason is looking to take a break and control but Infidellus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Infidellus gets back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Infidellus is on top in guard.

Bea Mason overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Infidellus lands a decent elbow from side control. Mason is looking for a sweep. Infidellus trying to move into half guard but instead Mason has managed to sweep! Infidellus manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mason manages to get himself to full guard.
Infidellus passes Mason's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Mason taking some punishment here, with Infidellus in his half guard. Infidellus has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Infidellus wants to free his trapped foot but Mason is holding on for dear life with his legs. Mason is trying to control but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mason is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Infidellus wants to stand up but Mason manages to regain full guard. Mason trying to keep a closed guard but Infidellus is proving a slippery customer.
Infidellus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mason swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Crusadius Infidellus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Crusadius Infidellus's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

A jab from Infidellus finds it's way through Mason's defenses. Bea Mason is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Infidellus thuds his right hand into Mason's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Infidellus displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mason. We've been told by Mason's head coaches at Death Valley Training Facility that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Infidellus clobbers Mason with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Infidellus throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
