Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jim Kirk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryan Beeker!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beeker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kirk tries to avoid it but Beeker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kirk to the ground. Kirk escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Beeker takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Ryan Beeker has been cut.
Kirk throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Beeker stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Beeker misses with a takedown attempt
and Kirk cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Kirk counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Beeker is rocked!
Jim Kirk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Beeker.
Beeker gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Kirk points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Beeker wakes up just in time to hear Kirk thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jim Kirk!
Jim Kirk was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
