Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Allisha Abel (ranked 2013 p4p, 245 weight class) and Charles Carmichael (ranked 2117 p4p, 255 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carmichael tries to bum rush Abel with a series of wild strikes but Abel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Abel fails to land the takedown.
Carmichael throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Abel on the side of the head.
Carmichael connects with a right hand. Abel shakes it off.
Abel with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Carmichael to score with a decent uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Carmichael throws a hook to the side of Abel's head but Abel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Carmichael jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Carmichael , as that shot connected.

It looked like Abel was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Carmichael catches Abel with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Abel has been working on his balance at Cozad Amsterdam, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Carmichael .
Abel shoots in and drives through. Carmichael sprawls well.

Abel shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

As Carmichael tries to get set, Abel tries to push him back and clinch up but Carmichael manages to avoid the attempt.

Carmichael might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Abel looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Abel drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Abel jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Abel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Abel is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Abel postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Carmichael is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Abel, into his guard.
Carmichael really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Abel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Carmichael got a little sloppy there for a moment and Abel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Carmichael has managed to get both his arms back between Abel's legs - danger averted.

Charles Carmichael comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Carmichael has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
