Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Bailey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damon Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Bob Bailey has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bob Bailey seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Damon Hall!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall misses with a wild body shot.
Bailey fails to land with a series of punches.

Bailey shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hall's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hall can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bailey controls the pace.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Bob Bailey is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Bailey frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bailey breaks from Hall's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hall tries to hold on but Bailey postures up.
Hall really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Bailey postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hall looks a forlorn figure.

That's time! Bailey's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Bailey looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bailey perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Bailey is looking to advance position but Hall won't allow it.

Hall can't do much from the bottom here.
Hall tries to improve position but can't.
Bailey works to advance to full mount. Hall defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Bailey postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hall looks a forlorn figure.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hall is looking to improve his position but Bailey isn't that keen on the idea.
Bailey pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Bailey takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bailey, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
