The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
S misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Johnson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by S.
The fight stays on the outside here - Johnson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
S moves in looking to clinch but Johnson pushes him off.
Johnson cracks S with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Johnson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
S keeps the fight on the outside.
Johnson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
S drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
S staying calm.
S thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
