Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Evgeni Elkemenchi (ranked 2352 p4p, 266 weight class) and Samak Tiyapairat (ranked 3118 p4p, 333 weight class). Tiyapairat comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ram Muay kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Samak Tiyapairat was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tiyapairat has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tiyapairat there as he acknowledges the shot.
It looks like Samak Tiyapairat has been cut. An inside leg kick lands from Elkemenchi. Elkemenchi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Elkemenchi connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Tiyapairat to the floor! Elkemenchi dives in looking for the finish!
Tiyapairat is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Elkemenchi controlling the action here.
