The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sackrider looks to throw the jab but Maneno is out of range.

and Sackrider takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sackrider jabs Maneno right on the nose. Maneno blinks but takes it well.
Sackrider is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Sackrider uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Maneno.

and Maneno counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sackrider thinking.

Chiku Maneno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sackrider throws an overhand right that lands on Maneno's shoulder, as Maneno tries to avoid the shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maneno tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sackrider was well out of range. Poor timing from Maneno.

Sackrider clobbers Maneno with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Maneno throws a body punch but Sackrider moves out of range.
Sackrider tries to score with a low kick but Maneno moves his leg out of the way.
Sackrider swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Maneno is looking to counter punch.
Sackrider slips under a jab.
Sackrider ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Maneno moves away.

Maneno is looking to wear down Sackrider with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Maneno uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sackrider.

Maneno throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Maneno fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Sackrider on the side of the head.
Maneno lands with a good body shot.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Maneno is stalking Sackrider. Sackrider circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Maneno, and it's lights out! Sackrider really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
