Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Stephen Stevie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dron Gudron! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gudron throws a push kick but Stevie slaps the foot to one side. Gudron shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gudron showed some decent athleticism there. Gudron content to control rather than advance. Gudron with the ground and pound but Stevie uses the opportunity to regain guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stevie pulls Gudron in close to his closed guard and prevents Gudron from doing any damage or advancing position. Gudron trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gudron looking to sit in guard and control but Stevie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Stevie content to stall in guard here. Stevie is looking to pass into half guard but Gudron pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Gudron is in guard. Stevie is pulling down on Gudron's head. It's preventing any offense from Gudron, at least for the moment. That's two minutes gone in the round. Stevie prevents Gudron from getting back to his feet. Stevie looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Stevie preventing the sweep. Stevie works a leg free and moves into half guard. Gudron should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Stevie moves into full mount! Gudron won't be happy about that! Stevie takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Gudron is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Stevie.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gudron wants to get back to his feet. I would not like to be Gudron right now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevie seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Gudron for as long as he can get away with. Gudron looks winded!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stevie's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Further stalling from Stevie. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stevie slips under a jab from Gudron. Gudron closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Gudron lands in his opponent's guard. Stevie seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Stevie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gudron doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gudron manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stevie trying to control the position here.

Stevie content to control rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stevie passes to side control. Stevie controlling the position from side mount. Stevie continues to stall. Stephen Stevie overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. More hug and hope from Stevie.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Gudron has eaten all the pies!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Gudron wants to control but Stevie postures up. Gudron is breathing heavily. Stevie controls the position from side control.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Gudron drives through with a takedown into guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stevie has control of Gudron's left arm, preventing Gudron from doing any damage. Gudron with a flurry of punches that miss. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stephen Stevie dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Stevie gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Gudron in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Gudron wants to stand and escape but instead Stevie has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Stevie stays in close to Gudron's body and controls the position. Stevie slips nicely into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stevie performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Stevie is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gudron can do to turn this around?
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevie is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Gudron takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Stevie controlling the position easily from mount. Stevie moves to back control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. What can Gudron do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stevie not allowing Gudron to control his hands. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Stevie is stinking the place up with his stalling. Gudron trying to control the position but Stevie manages to sink in the hooks. Stevie has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Gudron's body.
Dron Gudron has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stephen Stevie is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Stephen Stevie showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Stevie, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
