The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heino gets a takedown into half guard. Heino is trying to work for a kimura but Shachner is defending well.
Heino is tying to control. Shachner wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Heino prevents Shachner from improving his position. Heino takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Heino seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Shachner for as long as he can get away with. Shachner is working on a guillotine.
