Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Jackson (ranked 6201 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vjetrojeb Jebivjetar (ranked 7750 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vjetrojeb Jebivjetar!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jorge Garcia and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Jebivjetar shoots in but no luck this time.
Jackson is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Jebivjetar tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jackson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jebivjetar somewhat.
Jebivjetar darts in looking for a takedown but Jackson gets double underhooks and turns Jebivjetar into the cage.
Jack Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vjetrojeb Jebivjetar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jebivjetar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Jebivjetar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Vjetrojeb Jebivjetar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jackson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jebivjetar has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jackson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Jebivjetar shoots for a double leg takedown but Jackson sprawls well. He's pushed Jebivjetar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jebivjetar is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Jebivjetar shoots for a double leg takedown but Jackson sprawls well. He's pushed Jebivjetar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Jackson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jebivjetar keeps working.
