Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Moese Daldo (ranked 3447 p4p, 369 weight class) and Diego Oriola (ranked 3809 p4p, 395 weight class). Daldo comes to the cage accompanied by They see me rollin'. Diego Oriola is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Moese Daldo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Diego Oriola! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daldo feints and as Oriola raises his hands in defense, Daldo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Oriola is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Daldo is aware though and is defending well. Daldo passes easily into side control. Nice work. Daldo wants to control but Oriola is keeping him busy. Daldo gets to mount! Oriola was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Oriola is trying to escape the mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Oriola can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Daldo fails to advance to Oriola's back. Daldo wants to control the pace but Oriola is squirming around nicely. Daldo prevents Oriola from getting the reversal. Oriola looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Oriola is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Daldo off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Oriola is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Daldo looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Daldo controlling from the back. Daldo has the hooks in. Oriola is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

I really don't envy Oriola right now.

Daldo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Oriola has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Daldo has managed to get both his arms back between Oriola's legs - danger averted. Daldo advances to half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Oriola is not content to let Daldo control the position. Oriola trying to control from the bottom.

Oriola gets caught flat footed, as Daldo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Oriola has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Daldo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Oriola. Oriola tries to control but Daldo manages to take his back. Daldo keeps control of the position as Oriola tries to break free.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Moese Daldo! In his post fight interview, Moese Daldo started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
