Vazquez has sideU pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. sideU manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
I was talking to sideU's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Vazquez is trying to work for a single leg takedown but sideU pulls him back up using the underhooks.
IcN sideU has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joel Vazquez.
Vazquez is looking to take this one to the mat.
