Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Karloff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Buck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karloff kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Soviet Anthem. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ivan Karloff! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Buck! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buck closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Buck lands in his opponent's guard. Buck loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Buck throwing strikes from guard but Karloff blocks nicely. Karloff controls Buck momentarily but Buck frees himself. Buck slips nicely into half guard. Buck decides to return to a standing position. Karloff throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Buck's waist but Buck gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Karloff off to one side. Buck looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Karloff swats away the attempt to clinch by Buck. Karloff throws out a powerful jab. Karloff misses with a takedown attempt enabling Buck to counter with a crisp jab. Buck drives through and clinches with Karloff against the cage.
Buck is pressed up against the cage. Karloff has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Buck down to the mat. Buck avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ivan Karloff. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Karloff shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Karloff is stalling in the full guard. Buck looking for a sweep. Not yet Buck, not yet. Buck looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Buck keeping moving, preventing Karloff from controlling successfully. Karloff controls from within his opponent's guard. Karloff wants to control from the top but Buck keeps moving. Buck looking to hit a scissor sweep but Karloff is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Karloff trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Buck wants to improve his position but instead Karloff has moved into half guard.
Karloff controlling the action here. Buck slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Buck tries to land a sweep but no joy. Buck throws a couple of heel strikes.
Buck looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Buck looks gassed! Buck working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Karloff doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Karloff manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Karloff advances position into side control! Karloff moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Karloff stands up and beckons Buck to his feet. Karloff lands a high kick!
Karloff with a poor takedown and Buck counters with a shoot takedown. Karloff fights it but they end up in guard. Buck working some strikes from top position. Karloff is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Buck stops Karloff from standing up. Karloff has Buck pulled in close to control his posture. Buck wants to stand but Karloff is controlling his posture from full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Karloff wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Karloff is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Karloff stands up out of the half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! A chopping leg kick lands by Karloff. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Karloff. Karloff slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. The fight stays on the outside here - Buck looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Buck tries to clinch but Karloff moves out of range. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Buck circles away from the clinch attempt and Buck counters with a left right combination that sends Karloff crashing to the mat - Buck wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Karloff out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
