Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Augusto Carvarlo (ranked 25168 p4p, 250 weight class) and Ray Bongiorno (ranked 22406 p4p, 235 weight class). Ray Bongiorno will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Francis DeMontford and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Bongiorno. Carvarlo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Carvarlo throws a hook but Bongiorno blocks it.
Carvarlo scores with a jab. Bongiorno acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Bongiorno digs a good hook to Carvarlo's body.
Carvarlo misses with a combination
and Bongiorno counters with a left to the body.
Carvarlo sizes up Bongiorno with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Bongiorno avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A bone on bone clash there as Carvarlo blocks the leg kick.
Carvarlo lands a lovely overhand right.
Some wild striking there from Carvarlo.
Carvarlo moves in looking to clinch but Bongiorno pushes him off.
Carvarlo has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Bongiorno.
Bongiorno ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Carvarlo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bongiorno circles away quickly and effectively.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bongiorno tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carvarlo was well out of range. Poor timing from Bongiorno.
An attempted straight right counter from Carvarlo misses the target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A swing and a miss from Bongiorno.
Bongiorno keeps the fight on the outside.
Bongiorno with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Carvarlo checks a leg kick nicely.
Carvarlo gets a clinch.
Carvarlo is trying to break free.
Carvarlo wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bongiorno avoids a wild elbow strike from Carvarlo.
Bongiorno is trying to break the clinch but Carvarlo has him pressed against the ropes.
Bongiorno is looking to control Carvarlo's arms but Carvarlo gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bongiorno has his back to the ropes.
Carvarlo blocks a body shot from Bongiorno.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Bongiorno.
Carvarlo throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Carvarlo lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Carvarlo on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Carvarlo working hard to break the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Bongiorno pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bongiorno circles away from the clinch attempt
and Bongiorno counters with a nice double leg into side control. Carvarlo won't be happy with that.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bongiorno content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Bongiorno's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Carvarlo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bongiorno has hold of Carvarlo's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Carvarlo seems comfortable defending it but Bongiorno has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Carvarlo is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Carvarlo is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Bongiorno couldn't care less - he's delighted!
