Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Elmer Fudd (ranked 3162 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Riley (ranked 5237 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Elmer Fudd! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alex Riley! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Eliza Hachem and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riley throws a looping overhand right but Fudd ducks down to avoid it. Riley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Fudd. Riley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fudd counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Fudd drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Riley has momentary wrist control but Fudd slips an elbow through the middle. Fudd is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Fudd stands and steps away. Riley gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Riley misses with a wild body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Riley swings widly with a right hand
and Fudd counters with a straight right hand. Nice cross by Fudd. Fudd closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Fudd lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Riley is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Fudd lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Riley is still on wobbly legs! Can Fudd finish him? Fudd has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Riley is trying to keep an underhook but Fudd manages to get the takedown into half guard. Riley is looking to get back to is feet but Fudd passes into side control.
Fudd in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Riley looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Fudd turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Elmer Fudd! Elmer Fudd seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
