Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Min Halloway (ranked 23433 p4p, 443 weight class) and Bear Max (ranked 6971 p4p, 393 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Min Halloway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bear Max!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halloway waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Max.
Max throws a low kick, looking for Halloway's leg but Halloway calmly moves out of range.
Good shot there by Halloway.
Max closes the distance and clinches.
Halloway displaying some good clinch control by pressing Max up against the cage.
Halloway breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Halloway seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Halloway throws a shot from downtown. Max moves away and avoids it.
Halloway displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Max.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Halloway swings for the body but Max moves out of range.
Max looks for a takedown but Halloway sprawls well.
Halloway lands with a nice body punch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Max fails to land the takedown.
Min Halloway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bear Max.
Horrible takedown attempt by Max or perhaps it was just good defense by Halloway, which made it look bad.
A slow jab from Halloway misses its intended target.
Max shoots in but Halloway avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nice jab there from Halloway.
Halloway drops Max with a beautiful combination! Max stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Halloway is looking for the KO!
Max is rocked!
Max is aggressively charging in as Halloway backs up avoiding any damage. Halloway tosses out a jab and Max runs right into it face first! Max is out cold! Halloway dropped down on all fours and is barking in Max's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Min Halloway!
