Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Indigo Starseed (ranked 11973 p4p, 253 weight class) and Brick Tamland (ranked 4154 p4p, 129 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 12 wins and 7 losses; Indigo Starseed! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 24 wins and 10 losses; Brick Tamland!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Tamland dives in and grabs Starseed's left leg, looking for a takedown. Starseed pushes down on Tamland's head and hops out.

Starseed has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

It looks like Tamland might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

A relieved looking Brick Tamland thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Indigo Starseed stepped up to the mic, saying 'Dude, Garfield was a lot tougher than the comic strip version haha... No but seriosuly best 2-3? You owe me another chance to put in a real show for the fans! Good fight man! I'll be back! Better and stronger! Broken analog Pride never quits!'. |
