Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Kron Karelin (ranked 20133 p4p, 251 weight class) and Michel Tel� (ranked 2177 p4p, 62 weight class). Tel� has chosen Michel Telo - Ai se eu te pego as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 8 wins and 6 losses; Kron Karelin! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 3 losses; Michel Tel�! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Tel� rushes Karelin and presses him up against the cage.
Tel� has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Karelin uses from the top position. Karelin wants to control from the top but Tel� keeps moving.
Tel� looking for subs off his back but Karelin has passed one foot through into half guard.
Karelin prevents Tel� from improving his position. Tel� is refusing to be controlled, as Karelin sits in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Karelin is looking for a kimura here.
Karelin is trying a forearm choke� I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Tel� tries to roll over but Karelin keeps him under control. Tel� trying to control from the bottom.
Karelin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tel� does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Karelin is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Tel� to slip a leg under and get back to full guard. Tel� keeping moving, preventing Karelin from controlling successfully.

Karelin is working for a submission of some sort.
Karelin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tel� defends it well.
Tel� is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Karelin pulls his head out easily. Tel� moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Karelin trying to control the position from guard on top but Tel� is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tel� can't keep his opponent in guard - Karelin advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Karelin trying to control the action but Tel� is working from the bottom. Karelin passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Tel�! Score +3 for passing guard: Karelin (3) vs (0) Tel� Karelin trying to control but Tel� is having none of it.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Tel� is controlling an arm, preventing Karelin from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Karelin is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Tel� has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Tel�! Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Karelin (3) vs (2) Tel� Tel� wants to control from the top but Karelin keeps moving. Karelin looking for a sweep. Not yet Karelin, not yet. Tel� trying to control the position from guard on top but Karelin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Karelin is looking to sweep but instead, Tel� has passed into half guard.
 That's five minutes gone in the round. Tel� wants to control but Karelin is keeping him busy. Karelin is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tel�'s legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tel�'s back! Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Karelin (7) vs (2) Tel� Tel� turns into Karelin and is now in his guard.

Tel� has gone for a leg lock! Karelin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tel�'s guard. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Karelin (9) vs (4) Tel� Karelin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Tel� keeping moving, preventing Karelin from controlling successfully.

Tel� is looking to cinch up a triangle. Karelin throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Tel�'s body to avoid the submission. Tel� has instead reached around Karelin's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Tel� arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
