HBCC 2 PBP Commentary


Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Ewen Davis (ranked 432 p4p, 15 weight class) and Jiu Jitsu (ranked 2443 p4p, 73 weight class). Davis's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Atreyu-Ex's and oh's. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 11 wins and 4 losses; Ewen Davis! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 5 losses; Jiu Jitsu!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Davis drives through and clinches with Jitsu against the cage.
Davis drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jitsu gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Davis has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jitsu is trying to keep an underhook but Davis manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Jitsu wants to control but Davis is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Davis is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Davis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jitsu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Davis.

Jitsu is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Davis is defending well though. Jitsu let's go of the attempt for now.

Jitsu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Davis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Jitsu working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Davis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Davis manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jitsu had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Davis defends it easily.

Jitsu is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
