Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Gacy (ranked 3238 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Lumpkin (ranked 5815 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Gacy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thomas Lumpkin!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gacy takes the fight into the clinch.
Lumpkin jumps guard but Gacy stands there with Lumpkin around his waist. Lumpkin gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Lumpkin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gacy just stands there and leans against the cage.
Lumpkin blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Gacy tries to throw a body punch but Lumpkin avoids it by throwing Gacy back against the cage.
Lumpkin decides to pull guard.
Gacy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lumpkin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gacy wants to control from the top but Lumpkin keeps moving.
Gacy has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lumpkin scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Gacy definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Lumpkin is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lumpkin is trying to force a seperation but Gacy has the dominant position.

John Gacy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thomas Lumpkin.

Lumpkin tries to circle away but Gacy has him pinned against the cage.
Lumpkin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gacy walks away with a smile on his face. Lumpkin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Gacy scores with a hook to the body. Lumpkin takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Lumpkin looks winded!
Gacy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gacy digs a right hand underneath Lumpkin's ribcage. Lumpkin let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Gacy presses Lumpkin against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Gacy manages to break the clinch.
