Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Henry (ranked 2048 p4p, 246 weight class) and Henry Armstrong (ranked 2432 p4p, 279 weight class). Henry Armstrong will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Patrick Henry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Armstrong! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Armstrong throws a combination that misses letting Henry counter with a right hand. Armstrong stalks Henry and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Henry's face. Henry staggers backwards, shaken. Henry takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Armstrong tries to land a leg kick but Henry saw it coming and moves away.
As Armstrong tries to get set, Henry tries to push him back and clinch up but Armstrong manages to avoid the attempt. Armstrong throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Henry counter with a right hand.
It looks like Henry Armstrong has been cut. Armstrong takes the fight into the clinch. Henry lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Armstrong ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Armstrong no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Armstrong wants to stand but Henry is controlling the position. Henry is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Henry continues to stall. Henry will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Armstrong wants to stand and escape but Henry is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Armstrong has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Henry is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Henry working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Armstrong tries to pull guard but Henry forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Armstrong is trying to pull guard but Henry has him pressed against the cage. Henry has Armstrong pressed against the cage.

Patrick Henry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Henry Armstrong. Henry is working Armstrong over against the cage. A short right from Henry on the inside. Armstrong is trying to pull guard but Henry has him pressed against the cage. Armstrong jumps guard but Henry stands there with Armstrong around his waist. Armstrong gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Henry creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Armstrong tries to pull guard but Henry won't allow it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Armstrong is trying to pull guard but Henry turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Henry takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Armstrong is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Henry to keep the fight standing. Armstrong fails to pull guard.

Still in the clinch, Henry scores with a nice short uppercut. Henry lands a right hand. Henry digs a right hand underneath Armstrong's ribcage. Armstrong let out a lung full of air as it connected. Henry pushes Armstrong back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Armstrong fails to pull guard.

Henry stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Henry throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Armstrongs head. A left hand lands to the body for Henry.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Henry is working Armstrong over against the cage. Henry looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Henry works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Henry works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Armstrong gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Henry.
Armstrong is rocked! Armstrong tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Henry was well out of range. Poor timing from Armstrong. Armstrong is still on wobbly legs! Can Henry finish him? Henry lands a big uppercut and Armstrong crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Armstrong looks OK. Henry waves Armstrong back to his feet! Armstrong keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Henry defending well as Armstrong loads up on a big left hand. A combination from Armstrong does no damage. Henry Armstrong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Henry cracks Armstrong with a hook to the temple - Armstrong is on wobbly legs here! Henry swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Armstrong falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Henry wins by TKO!
