Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Takeshi Yamada (ranked 5475 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remember me (ranked 25079 p4p, 0 weight class). Remember me will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeshi Yamada! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Remember me! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! me with a poor takedown and Yamada counters with a nice double leg into half guard. me gets back to full guard.
Yamada sitting in guard, not really doing much. Yamada seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down me for as long as he can get away with. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yamada pushing down on me's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. me trying to control here.
Still in half guard, Yamada seems content to control. Yamada's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. me tries to get to full guard but Yamada has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. me is still trying to improve position. Yamada is looking for a kimura here.
Yamada content to control rather than advance. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick from me lands but Yamada takes it in his stride. Yamada stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Yamada wants it to stay on the feet. Yamada pushes me up against the cage in a clinch. Yamada pulls guard. me is fighting to break Yamada's control of his arms but Yamada is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yamada utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Yamada looking for a sweep. Not yet Yamada, not yet. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Yamada utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Yamada closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Yamada lands in his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Takeshi Yamada dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Yamada shoots in and gets a takedown into me's guard. Yamada stays in close to me's body and controls the position. Yamada pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. me is keeping the position for now. Yamada showing good wrestling skills to control the position. That's one minute gone in the round. Yamada cracks me with a solid left hand. Yamada keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of me's head. Yamada postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. me wriggles free and stands up. me throws a lazy head kick and Yamada counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Yamada. me keeping full guard, as Yamada tries to pass. Yamada has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. me being controlled here, momentarily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takeshi Yamada overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Yamada looking to pass the guard. Yamada lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Yamada is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that me can do to turn this around?

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. The fight moves into the clinch position. me is fighting off a takedown attempt but Yamada is just too persistent for him and manages to trip me to the mat. me regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Yamada controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. me is trying to control the position but Yamada postures up. Yamada cracks me with a solid left hand. Yamada controls from within his opponent's guard. Yamada working some strikes from top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yamada is working me over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Yamada postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Yamada won't allow me to get back to his feet. Yamada scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Yamada's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Yamada is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Yamada stays in close to me's body and controls the position. Yamada is working me over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Takeshi Yamada dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
me shoots in and drives through. Yamada sprawls well. me tries for a takedown but Yamada circles away easily and Yamada counters with a single leg into guard. me didn't expect that. Yamada engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Yamada connects with a couple of short punches. Yamada is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yamada postures up.
Yamada controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Yamada might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Further stalling from Yamada. me throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Excellent takedown into side control there by Yamada. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. me manages to work his way to half guard, despite Yamada's best efforts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. me is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Yamada scores with a couple of nice shots. Yamada stands up out of the half guard. me shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Yamada eats them both and turns towards me to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. me swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Yamada counters with a single leg into guard. me didn't expect that. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Yamada is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Yamada lands a couple of digs. Yamada content to stall in guard here. me is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yamada seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Yamada wants to pass the guard but me is keeping the position. me pushes a forearm under Yamada's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Yamada is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Remember me! Remember me was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
