Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Keisuke Matsui (ranked 5497 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rizzo Ryte (ranked 6174 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Keisuke Matsui! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rizzo Ryte! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matsui keeps the fight on the outside. Ryte is looking to clinch but Matsui is avoiding it.
Ryte changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Matsui tries to avoid it but Ryte manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Matsui to the ground. Matsui escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Matsui bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Matsui working the head and body with strikes. Matsui knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ryte on the ground. Matsui working away. Matsui working the ground and pound. Matsui tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Ryte tries to buck Matsui off but Matsui is having none of it. Ryte is trying to escape and get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Ryte's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Ryte tries to escape but Matsui is in control. Ryte is trying to get back to half guard. Matsui controlling the position. Ryte gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Matsui trying to mount his opponent but Ryte defends it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Matsui takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Matsui tries to stand but can't do so whilst Ryte controls his leg. Matsui content to control rather than advance. Matsui stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Matsui gets a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matsui has picked Ryte up - he's going for a ride! Matsui dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Nice strikes from Matsui there. Matsui lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Ryte moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Ryte looking for a guillotine here but Matsui defends easily.
Matsui got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ryte has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Matsui has managed to get both his arms back between Ryte's legs - danger averted.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Matsui with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Ryte trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Matsui lands a couple of decent looking shots. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Matsui is looking to pass into half guard but Ryte pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Ryte is in guard.
Matsui on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Matsui tries to get out of the position. Matsui pulls Ryte in close to prevent any damage. Ryte looking to pass the guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Matsui working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ryte. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Keisuke Matsui dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ryte fails to land with a series of punches.
Matsui closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ryte did well to prevent Matsui getting side control. Ryte tries to get to full guard but Matsui has control of the leg. Matsui controlling the pace. Matsui uses his free foot to push down on Ryte's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ryte. Matsui controlling from mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matsui is trying to take his opponent's back.
Matsui moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ryte has worked his arm free - good work by Ryte!
Matsui is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ryte has escaped the position, nice work there. Ryte is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Matsui's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ryte trying to control from the bottom.
Ryte slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Ryte controls Matsui momentarily but Matsui frees himself. Matsui seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Ryte has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Matsui should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Ryte has tightened it up now! Matsui should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Rizzo Ryte!
