Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henry Aron (ranked 1361 p4p, 207 weight class) and Chief Shadow (ranked 3019 p4p, 404 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Aron might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to USA!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Henry Aron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Shadow!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shadow scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Shadow connects with a nice short shot to Aron's temple.
Shadow scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Shadow thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Aron is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Shadow stands up over Aron, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Shadow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aron swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Aron is pulling down on Shadow's head to control his posture.

Shadow drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Aron manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Shadow has Aron in his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shadow is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Shadow is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Aron is aware though and is defending well.

Shadow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Shadow is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Shadow looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've been hearing that Aron has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Aron distracts Shadow with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Aron is in close to Shadow's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Shadow is looking to control Aron's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Shadow avoid being mounted?

Shadow is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Aron scores with a couple of nice shots.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Aron lands a nice short elbow.

Aron lands a big elbow - Shadow is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Aron!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Henry Aron!
Henry Aron seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
