Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miroslaw Pawlowski (ranked 6649 p4p, 605 weight class) and Gvo Gvo (ranked 24342 p4p, 654 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Miroslaw Pawlowski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gvo Gvo! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gvo fails with the takedown. Pawlowski looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Gvo! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pawlowski is trying to get an arm triangle but Gvo is defending well. Pawlowski stands up and beckons Gvo to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pawlowski looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gvo is fending him off so far but Pawlowski persists. Nope, Gvo circles away and we're back to standing. Gvo Gvo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gvo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Gvo wants it to stay on the feet. Gvo shoots in looking for a takedown but Pawlowski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gvo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Gvo fails with a takedown attempt. Miroslaw Pawlowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gvo Gvo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gvo stuffs the takedown. Gvo throws a body kick that misses. Gvo moves into the clinch successfully.

Pawlowski drops down looking for an ankle pick but Gvo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Gvo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Pawlowski is breathing heavily. Pawlowski closes the distance but Gvo moves to the side and Gvo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Gvo. Gvo sitting in guard here, content to control. Pawlowski is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Pawlowski will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gvo stands up over Pawlowski, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Gvo trying to control the position from guard on top but Pawlowski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gvo makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Gvo tries to stand but Pawlowski is controlling from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Pawlowski wants to clinch and Gvo counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Pawlowski scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Gvo manages to mount him!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gvo tries to control but Pawlowski wriggling away. Pawlowski is in all sorts of trouble here.
Gvo controlling the pace for now. The referee warns Pawlowski that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Gvo pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gvo with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Pawlowski slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Pawlowski wants to stand back up but Gvo manages to pass into side control.
Gvo trying to control the position but Pawlowski is working away. Pawlowski is working to avoid the ground and pound but Gvo connects with a decent elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gvo Gvo dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Pawlowski closes the distance and clinches. The referee calls for Pawlowski to work.
Pawlowski jumps guard and drags Gvo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gvo gets to his feet. Pawlowski looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Gvo forces Pawlowski back against the cage and clinches. Gvo pushes off an throws an elbow but Pawlowski leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Pawlowski fails to pull guard.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Gvo. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Gvo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Pawlowski doesn't manage to clinch there - Gvo circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fight moves into the clinch position. Gvo breaks the clinch.
Gvo has his takedown stuffed and Pawlowski counters with a series of strikes. Gvo will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pawlowski circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pawlowski rushes Gvo and presses him up against the cage. Pawlowski wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Gvo has him pressed against the cage. Pawlowski swings wildly with an uppercut but Gvo uses good head movement to avoid it. Pawlowski working hard to break the clinch. Gvo is trying to pull guard but Pawlowski turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Gvo is struggling to control the position. Gvo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gvo moves into range and clinches up with Pawlowski. Gvo scores with a knee to the head.
It looks like Miroslaw Pawlowski has been cut. Pawlowski's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gvo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pawlowski. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pawlowski fails in his attempt to clinch. Pawlowski tries to clinch up but Gvo circles away and keeps his distance. Gvo lands a big head kick that sends Pawlowski tumbling to the mat! Gvo takes a step backwards and waves Pawlowski back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Pawlowski is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Pawlowski gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Gvo Gvo!
