Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bernand Patterson (ranked 5537 p4p, 0 weight class) and Littel The (ranked 5621 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Littel The! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The scores with a kick to the body.
The throws a head kick that Patterson semi-blocks.
The gets caught flat footed, as Patterson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The pushes Patterson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Patterson instigates a clinch. Patterson is pressed up against the cage. The has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Patterson down to the mat. Patterson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The misses with a jab, cross combination.
The has a takedown stuffed. The shoots for a double leg takedown but Patterson sprawls well. He's pushed The's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Patterson drops down looking for a counter takedown but The sprawls and moves away. Bernand Patterson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Littel The. The fails with a takedown attempt from distance. The tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Patterson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. The tries to clinch up but Patterson circles away and keeps his distance. No joy there for Patterson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Patterson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from The. The throws a right hand that Patterson ducks under and follows up with a left that Patterson also avoids with ease. The looks winded!

The wants to break free but Patterson has control.
Patterson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics The uses from the top position. Patterson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. The gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Patterson is looking to work some ground and pound but The has wrist control. Patterson stays in close to The's body and controls the position. Patterson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The being controlled here, momentarily. Patterson slips nicely into half guard. Patterson performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Patterson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Patterson decides to stand and escape the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Patterson clinches with his opponent.
Patterson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Patterson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Patterson looking for a guillotine here but The defends easily.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Patterson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. The manages to get himself to full guard.

It looks like Littel The has been cut. Patterson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The has a hand on Patterson's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Patterson takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Patterson content just to control the position here. Bernand Patterson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The reaches up to try and control the position but Patterson seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! The rolls and tries to escape and now Patterson has his back!
That's one minute gone in the round. Patterson misses with punches from the back. Patterson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that The can do to turn this around? Even with his hooks in, Patterson manages to miss with strikes from the back. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Patterson. Patterson has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of The's body.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Patterson is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Patterson has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, The has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Bernand Patterson dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Littel The's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

The is fighting off a takedown attempt but Patterson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip The to the mat. The regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Patterson slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from The. Patterson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The blocking the ground and pound attempt from Patterson. The really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Patterson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Patterson manages to move to mount!

The takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Patterson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Patterson with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Patterson looking to break The's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. The remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Patterson will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. A bit of a pause in the action here. Patterson controlling the positon. Patterson missing with strikes from the back. Oooh a big shot gets through from Patterson. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Patterson really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for The. Littel The has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bernand Patterson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
