Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones lands a nice hook to Ulv's body. Ulv takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jones throws the left hand but Ulv avoids the punch easily.
Ulv is looking to land body kicks.
Jones blocks a head kick by Ulv.
A quick step to the side and Jones tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ulv with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Ulv misses with a hook
and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ulv tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jones throws a body punch but Ulv moves out of range.
Jones avoids the head kick by Ulv.
Ulv pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ulv misses with a straight right.
Ulv throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ulv throws a one two combo.
Ulv goes for a double leg but Jones avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jones continues to drive forward.
Ulv shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ulv is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Ulv prevents Jones from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ulv wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
Jones wants to stand up but Ulv is controlling him.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Ulv from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jones ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ulv moves away.
Jones throws a hook but Ulv blocks it.
Ulv avoids the body shot from Jones.
Ulv dodges the punch combination from Jones.
Jones throws a hook but Ulv blocks it.
Ulv throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jones tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ulv is in Jones's guard.

Ulv thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Ulv drops back looking for a leg! Jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jones manages to kick Ulv off! Ulv jumps back into Jones's guard.
Jones wants to stand up but Ulv is controlling him.
Ulv pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jones is keeping the position for now.
Jones is looking to stand up but Ulv isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheers as Jones lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ulv doesn't seem phased though.
Jones cracks Ulv with a good jab.
Ulv misses with a kick to the body.
Jones misses with an uppercut.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Jones enables Ulv to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jones manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Jones has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Ulv off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ulv.
Jones stuffs the takedown attempt from Ulv. Ulv gets slowly back to his feet.
Tom Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ulrik Ulv.
Jones misses the shot to the body.
A countering left hand to the body from Ulv misses.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones throws a nice looking combination but Ulv bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jones scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ulv doesn't seem bothered though.
Ulv lands a slapping body shot.
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And Ulv tries to counter it with a takedown but Jones pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Ulv throws a sloppy head kick and Jones moves out of range easily.

Jones avoids the body shot from Ulv.
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jones jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Ulv throws a lazy head kick
and Jones counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Ulv fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jones throws a jab when Ulv was well out of range.
Ulv blocks a jab.
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jones throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ulv throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ulv misses with a straight left.
Ulv misses with a jab, cross combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tom Jones will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jones connects with a looping right hand.
Ulv looks to land a left hand but Jones moved out of range nicely.
Ulv throws a lazy head kick
and Jones counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Ulv is rocked!
Jones throws an uppercut from hell that sends Ulv clean off his feet! He's out cold! Jones stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tom Jones!
