Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Feddor Emeliannenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrey Sharkansky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sharkansky is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Riot. Andrey Sharkansky will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Andrey Sharkansky! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sharkansky gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Emeliannenko looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Sharkansky shoots for a double leg takedown but Emeliannenko sprawls well. He's pushed Sharkansky's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Sharkansky gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Sharkansky is looking for a triangle but Emeliannenko pushes his legs off easily.
Emeliannenko could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Emeliannenko thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Emeliannenko throws and elbow that misses. Sharkansky uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Emeliannenko's guard. Nice move by Sharkansky! Sharkansky is looking to stand up but Emeliannenko won't let him. Sharkansky avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Sharkansky gets a takedown into half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. But no, Emeliannenko has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Andrey Sharkansky has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Feddor Emeliannenko is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Feddor Emeliannenko. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Emeliannenko, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
