Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nazz Lee (ranked 1236 p4p, 148 weight class) and Dale Bomber (ranked 1337 p4p, 160 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nazz Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dale Bomber!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee scores with a body shot.
Bomber moves forwards but Lee connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Bomber has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Bomber needs to keep his hands up - Lee had a free shot at his head there.


It looks like Dale Bomber has been cut.
Bomber checks a low kick from Lee.
Lee darts in looking for a takedown but Bomber gets double underhooks and turns Lee into the cage.
Bomber chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lee can pounce on him.
A nice inside leg kick there by Lee. That's going to slow Bomber down.
Lee connects with a right hand. Bomber shakes it off.
Bomber scores with a nice head shot.
Nice defenses there by Lee.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bomber paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lee scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bomber keeping hold of Lee's head, controlling as best he can.
Lee is keen to just control but Bomber is a slippery customer.
Lee looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Lee is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bomber is refusing to be controlled, as Lee sits in half guard.

Lee seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Bomber has recovered full guard.

Lee drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bomber dives on top into guard.


Bomber avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Lee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lee has an active guard here but Bomber has managed to pass into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bomber in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are battling for position here. Lee manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Lee wants to control the position but Bomber says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lee wants to get back to full guard.
Lee is pressing down on Bomber's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Lee controls Bomber momentarily but Bomber frees himself.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lee is on top in guard.

Lee wants to control from the top but Bomber keeps moving.

Lee drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bomber dives on top into guard.

Lee is looking to sweep but instead, Bomber has passed into half guard.
Lee is looking to improve his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bomber trying to control the pace.
Lee works his way to full guard. Good work.
Bomber stopping the sweep attempt from Lee.

Lee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bomber doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bomber manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lee working for submissions but it's allowed Bomber to get to half guard.
Lee is looking for a sweep. Bomber is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Nazz Lee will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Dale Bomber's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!


Bomber fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lee looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bomber lands a head shot.
Lee throws a leg kick but Bomber moved away.
Bomber missing with a left hand there. Lee was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bomber thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lee looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bomber lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nazz Lee is winning the standup battle so far.
Lee thows a leg kick but Bomber checks it
and Bomber scores with a counter punch that sends Lee to the canvas! Bomber smells blood - he's punishing Lee with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Lee has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dale Bomber!
