Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chas Pate (ranked 25202 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arlo Rochester (ranked 5413 p4p, 479 weight class). Rochester comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Voodoo Child- Jimi Hendrix kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Arlo Rochester will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pate shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rochester manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pate postures up and lands a big shot to Rochester's brow.
Pate postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Pate decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rochester, up you get!
Some wild striking there from Rochester.
Pate blocks a head kick by Rochester.
Rochester scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Rochester with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Rochester misses with a low kick.
Rochester misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rochester throws a poor cross that misses
and Pate counters with a solid body kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rochester throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Pate on the side of the head.
Pate shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Pate was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
You can see the frustration on Rochester's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Rochester really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pate. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pate has hold of Rochester's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Rochester seems comfortable defending it but Pate has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Rochester is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Rochester is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Pate couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Chas Pate!
