Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kusal Perera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Makunouchi Ippo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ippo throws a jab when Perera was well out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Perera on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Perera waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ippo.
Ippo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Perera closes the distance and pushes Ippo back into the ropes.
Perera throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Ippos head.
A short body shot lands from Perera as the two fighters clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Perera.
Ippo looks winded!
Perera lands a right hand.
Perera lands with a light punch inside.
Perera makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Ippo is rocked!
Perera breaks the clinch momentarily and cracks Ippo with a big right hook that drops him to the canvas! Ippo looks like he might be in big trouble here! The referee has started the count straight away and we're up to 5 already. Ippo get to one knee - can he make it back to his feet? No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!
